LoadStorm.com - load testing in the cloud

Company

It all started over a couple of beers in a Denver apartment on February 28, 1987. Steve Winwood's new CD was playing through the Bose 601 speakers with a surprisingly rich sound quality. Surprising only to Scott; Roger was accustomed to the level of fidelity because it was his stereo system. Scott did not own a CD player until several years after that.

Roger was grilling the steaks on the small grill on his small deck. The conversation drifted away from the goings on at work to what they wanted to do with the rest of their lives.

Both wanted to start a software company and solve the world's problems. And here they are, 21 years later, solving the problems of web application developers around the world.

They created LoadStorm™ in response to their own need for a load testing solution for their web applications. Their company, CustomerCentrix had been writing web apps for clients since 1999.

The problem of "meltdown" has occurred to CustomerCentrix applications when sudden large increases in the user base overwhelmed the system's ability to respond. And the clients were the ones discovering the load limit. That's a problem.

Roger and Scott knew they needed a good load testing solution, but buying the Mercury or LoadRunner tools were expensive. And buying enough server capacity to simulate tens of thousands of users was out of the budget.

LoadStorm™ was born from the desire for reliable software and the need for cost-effectiveness. CustomerCentrix is committed to continuing to deliver world-class software in a SaaS model. We look forward to serving you.
